Potter Cindy Wilkins took evening classes in pottery in the late 1970’s and thus began her love for throwing stoneware pottery. By the 1990’s she launched her first website and What A Crock! Pottery was born. Since then What A Crock has grown to selling pottery across the country to both retail and consumer customers.

Cindy’s designs are functional, yet beautifully decorated to fit any décor. She wants her pottery to not only be a piece of art, but a functional utensil as well. Everything is thrown by hand thus creating a one-of-a-kind piece each and every time.

From her new studio in Statesville, North Carolina, Cindy continues to design tasteful, classic designs which may be customized to fit nearly any décor. Functional yet stylish perfectly describes What A Crock stoneware pottery. This website provides a wide range of samples of the pottery she had created. If you do not see what your are looking for, please email or call Cindy to bring your vision to life!

All pottery is lead-free, dishwasher and microwave safe. What A Crock handcrafted pottery is very durable and with proper care will last a lifetime, or longer.
